The 2018 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) will commence on 4th June, 2018 while the West African Senior Secondary School Certificates Examination (WASSSCE) has since begun in earnest on the 3rd of April, 2017.
The administrator of the school, Mrs. Patience Nkara Kpiniong speaking at an orientation programme for the candidates said the school has prepared the students both psychologically and academically for the exams.
According to her, students are being trained in the three domains of learning, namely the psychomotor, affective and cognitive domains.
She however admitted that there are some isolated challenges the students are encountering in their learning abilities, but she is quite convinced that the candidates will perform well since they have adequately been prepared ahead of time.
She stated “As this exam marks a very crucial stepping stone in the academic pursuits of all candidates, it is the hope and prayer of management that the Almighty will crown all your efforts and toil with success so as to justify all the investments made in you by your respective families and country at large."
On behalf of Management of MSIS , she wished all candidates the best of luck and retentive memory. She also advised the candidates to abide by the rules and regulations governing the West African examination body in order not to be found themselves wanting.
Outlining modalities the school had put in place to address individual student challenges, Mrs. Kpiniong said academic counselors have since been assigned to each student considering the background of some of the students.
