The assemblyman for the ADB electoral area Abdul Razak Gombila has donated cleaning and waste collecting items to the Anbariya Islamic institute on Friday.
The items included 40 metal dustbins, 40 brooms, 10 rakes, 4 shovels, 4 wheelbarrows, 4 big sign boards, and 16 small sign boards.
Presenting the items to authorities of Anbariya, Mr Gombila explained that he was approached by the assemblyman of the agric / Mehiyebihi electoral area Mohammend Mutala and a teacher of the institute Mr. Wahab to supply them with such materials.
The ADB electoral area assemblyman explained that the donation of the sanitation materials was to help promote sanitation and uplift the image of Anbariya institute.
Hon. Gombila also announced his intention to provide the institute with modern entrance metal gates in order to prevent motorist from passing through the school during instructional hours.
The Tamale Metropolitan Assembly Presiding Member (PM), Abu Takuro who was present at the handing over ceremony thanked Razak Gombila for his kind gesture to help keep Tamale clean.
According to the PM, Mr Gombila has carried out his benevolent work including providing street lights in his electoral area and some parts of Tamale metropolis such as Gummani.
