The Sagnarigu district assembly is committing a total amount of 741 Ghana Cedis (GHC741.798) for a number of projects to be undertaken in the district.
Some of the projects include the construction of fence walls and rehabilitation of the Sagnarigu and Choggu health centers, construction of fire service and ambulance centers, construction of teachers’ quarters at Bawa Barracks School, construction of a three classroom block at Kalpohin Adabiya primary school, and the construction of CHIPS compounds at Kperijinga and Tampe-kukuo.
The district chief executive (DCE) for Sagnarigu, Mr. Alhassan Mohammed Sorigudoo, on Tuesday said the NDC government was a listening government and therefore will do its best to provide the needed infrastructure for the people to enhance their standard of living.
According to Mr. Sorigudoo, government effort is geared towards developing the country in all sectors. He urged chiefs and people of the beneficiary communities to give the contractors the necessary support to execute the projects on time.
The chief executive cautioned the contractors on the projects to complete the job on time so as to serve the purpose for which they are being set up.
