The Member of Parliament for the Sagnarigu Constituency Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini has underscored the need to acquire knowledge at all levels. He said the best form of empowerment of the people is the acquisition of knowledge.
Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini who was speaking at the commissioning of a four-unit classroom block for the Kogni M/A Primary in the Sagnarigu Municipality said anybody who provides any assistance in the area of acquisition of knowledge has given the people a resource for the rest of their lives.
He therefore called on parents to invest in the education of their children, even if it means selling their properties like cattle and other valuable materials to ensure their children are educated.
The Circuit Supervisor for the Mile Nine Circuit in the Sagnarigu Municipality, Valeria Kuupuolo on behalf of the Municipal Education Director at the commissioning ceremony said the educational needs are wide and varied and called for concerted efforts to address same.
She also commended the MP for the kind gesture and pledged that the facility will be put to good use.
