Kojo Antwi confirms his performance in Tamale

Ghana’s Highlife music maestro, Julius Kojo Antwi has confirmed, he will be performing live in Tamale on Saturday, 16th November, 2013, as part of activities marking this year’s MTN Savanna-Fest. A source close to Kojo discloses this to Zaa News.

Officials of MTN Ghana have also confirmed to Zaa News that the music man as his affectionately called will graced the Savanna-Fest in Tamale.

According to the source, the Ghanaian music maestro is really looking forward to the concert, as it marks his second ever performance in Tamale.

His first performance in Tamale, was about seven years ago. The long absence of the maestro’s performing in Tamale, has whipped his enthusiasm, morale and zeal ahead of the November 16 concert.

Some finest Northern regional artistes are also expected to perform at the event. Other activities planned for the Festival include, the commissioning of a special Chief Imam’s project at Madarasatul Monawwara Primary School in Tamale, Health Walk dubbed “MTN walka-thon”, an Inter-Community Football Gala among others.

 Bolgais are also billed to have their fair share of the festival on the 23rd of November with the “MTN walka-thon”, whilst communities will battle in the inter-community football gala.

 The Festival bus will then move to Wa on the 30th of November, where there would be the commissioning of a special chief Imam’s project at Limanyiri Model JHS, MTN walka-thon and an inter-community cycling competition dubbed “BUZANGA OLYMPICS”
