The Regent of Dagbon, His Majesty Kampakuya-Naa Abdulai Yakubu Andani has appealed to the people in the northern region to eschew all forms of evil deeds as Muslims celebrate the 2013 EIDUL Fitr.

His majesty Kampakuya-Naa further appealed to the people in the northern region to resolve that they will strive to add more to the blessings of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The regent of Dagbon reminded the Muslim Ummah about the relevance of Eidul Fitr; thus spreading goodwill and love among the less blessed and privileged in the society.

Eid day, Kampamkuya-Naa said, is not only just a moment of celebration, but also thanking almighty Allah for the well-being and opportunity HE granted Muslims to undertake such spiritual exercise.  

 In his Eidul Fitr message and the impending supreme court ruling, his majesty Kampakuya-Naa Abdulai Yakubu Andani  said Ramadan is not only just the abstinence from food and drinking, but also it goes with self-restraint from all evils that may result from the misuse of the faculties Allah has blessed us with.  He urged Imams and the Muslim Umma to pray for all humanity and the world, especially, the Ghanaian people for security and peace. 

The regent called on the people in the Dagbon Kingdom to work towards the common goal of making the world a better place for everybody to live in.

As the Supreme Court prepares to give its ruling on August 29, 2013, he urged Ghanaians to accept the verdict and the victorious party should endeavor to celebrate with moderation in not to offend others.
