Members of Organized Labour in the Northern Region today joined their colleagues across the country to demonstrate against the increment of utility tariffs. They also presented a petition to the deputy northern regional minister, Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini.
Among their demands are reduction of the tariffs, pay realistic wages and reduce the tax burden of Ghanaian workers.
The workers who were in red clothes went through some principle street of Tamale and later presented their petition to government through the northern regional coordinating council.
