The paramount Chief of Zabzugu/ Yelzoli traditional area in the Northern Region have honored Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah with the esteemed title “Yelzoli Saha Naa,” meaning “Chief of Luck and Success.”
This recognition comes after Asiedu Nketiah rallied support for Hon. Alhassan Umar aka Abako, parliamentary candidate for Zabzugu Constituency.
The title “Yelzoli Saha Naa” is reserved for warriors who achieve luck, fortune, and success in all endeavors and Hon. Aseidu Nketiah fits into description according to the chiefs of the area. The Yelzoli-Lana Imoro II acknowledged Asiedu Nketiah’s significant contributions to Ghana’s democracy and the NDC party, praising his dedication and leadership.
In response, Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah expressed gratitude to the chiefs for the privileged title and pledged to support the community’s development.
Chairman General Mosquito appealed to the chiefs to help secure the Zabzugu Constituency Seat for NDC in the upcoming election.
Hon. A.B.A. Fuseini in addressing the chiefs emphasized the importance of unity and collective action to protect votes on December 7th, 2024.
Hon. Alhassan Umar, the former Member of Parliament and the parliamentary candidate for the area, also appealed to the chiefs to vote massively for him and John Mahama in order to continue the development and opening the rest of the constituency up to the rest of the country.
Hon. He highlighted his achievements: Zabzugu township RCH for essential healthcare, boreholes for clean water, renovated schools and health facilities, and extended electricity for economic growth. “These accomplishments show my commitment,” he said. “Re-elect me and support John Mahama for a brighter future.”
This event was part of the JM and Jane NDC Victory Retail Campaign in the Northern Region, led by Chairman General Mosquito. Asiedu Nketiah’s leadership and commitment to Ghana’s democracy continue to earn recognition and respect.
