Kalpohini residents commend MP for regravelling road

Residents of Kalpohini in the Tamale North Constituency are excited over the re-graveling of the Kumbun-Naa’s residence through the taxi rank to the Kalpohini cemetery road.

The road had been in a deplorable state for over three years and made it difficult for residents to travel on it with ease.

Amid excitement and pure joy, residents thronged the project site which was made possible by the member of Parliament for the Tamale North Constituency Alhaji Alhassan Sayibu Suhuyini.

The Chiefs, opinion leaders and residents of the community have been showering praises on the MP for coming to their aid and making funds available for the road to be re-gravelled and compressed.

Former Assembly Member for Kalpohini Alhaji Mohammed Awal on behalf of the residents told Zaa News the bad nature of the road made it difficult for cars to use and the few that managed to ply suffered damages.

He commended the MP for stepping up efforts to improve the quality of road networks in the area.

Alhaji Awal, however, urged the MP to ignore the few disgruntled youth in Kalpohini who for their selfish political parochial interest, fail to appreciate his efforts to address the challenges of the area.
