A multi-stakeholder meeting for selected communities in the Sagnarigu Municipality, organised by NORSAAC’s Get Up Speak Out (GUSO) to improve health care delivery services was held in Tamale on Friday.
The meeting, which brought together peer educators and heads of municipal health institutions, discussed key findings from score cards presented by peer educators from some communities of the Sagnarigu Municipality.
In an interaction with Zaa News, the project officer for NORSAAC, Mr.Mohammed Sumaila, stated that the meeting is intended to facilitate quality health care delivery in the selected health outlets, but not to point out inadequacies in those institutions.
The engagements, he noted, will enhance social accountability and strengthen relationships between community members and health institutions. He added that NORSAAC will remain focused and in close contact with all targeted health institutions to upgrade them with up-to-date developments on their findings through data collected from peer educators.
