Voting in the five Constituencies in Northern region has delayed by rain.
Zaa News reporters, Lilian Walter and Yasmine Ahmed Kanton reports from polls started in Nanton Constituency at 8:48am instead 7am.
The situation was not different from Yendi, Tolon, Saboba and Wunlisi.
Voting, according to our reporters however went smoothly admist rain with police officers in each electoral area and military patrolling in Yendi and Tolon which has been identified as hotspots.
In the Bimbilla Constituency, the defense minister, Dominic Nitiwul was acclaimed as sole candidate by the electoral commission officials witnessed by the northern regional minister, Mr Salifu Saeed.
