“We have a lot of projects to campaign on than to resort to insults:” NDC northern campaign coordinator
Northern Regional Campaign Coordinator of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Mohammed-Muniru Limuna says the NDC will prosecute it’s campaign in the region devoid of insults.
Alhaji Limuna who is also the food and agriculture minister told traditional leaders in Bimbilla that the Mahama led administration has a lot of developmental projects that it has executed in the past 7 years. Alhaji Limuna stated this at the Bimbilla Naa’s palace when he led party leadership to pay a courtesy call on the regent of Bimbila.
He told the regent of Bimbilla and his elders that the campaign team has no business in insulting anyone contesting the elections but instead has to convince the electorates on the current ongoing developmental projects.
He also sought the regent blessings for the launch explaining that the decision to launch the regional campaign was based on the underground work done on party’s chances in the district.
The party doesn’t want the spoilt ballots to repeat itself in the region in this year’s elections. A founding member of NDC in the Bimbilla constituency in Bimbilla, Mr Adam Mashad said the party is the best for the people of Nanumg and for the people in the Northern region.
He explained that NDC is the most peaceful and the most united party and doesn’t discriminate against its members.
The deputy chief of in change of operation, Mr Kenneth Wujangi described as NPP specializing in abandoning projects and urged Ghanaians need to avoid the party.
“If you want the eastern corridor road to be completed, retain NDC in power because, we need a government willing to complete or otherwise it will come to standstill, a government who believes in continuity and not a political party like NPP specializing in abandoning state projects,” the deputy chief of staff said.
