Sagnarigu: National Service Personnel Association commissions water project
The Sagnarigu Municipal branch of the National Service Personnel Association has commissioned the NASPA water project at the office premises. The initiative is part of efforts to addressing the water challenge personnel and other staff face at the office.
The National Service Scheme is a government of Ghana program that operates under the National Service Act, 1980 (Act 426) which resulted to the formation of the National Service Personnel Association of Ghana (NASPA) in 1993 with the aim of adopting a unified and a cohesive approach towards the welfare of service personnel in the country.
President of NASPA, Sulemana Mohammed reveals that, the water project initiative is in recognition of the NASPA week celebration. He indicates the idea is laudable and will go a long way to benefit service personnel in the Sagnarigu Municipality.

The Association as part of the NASPA WEEK celebration also donated some items to the Nyohini Children’s Home. The items include bags of rice, oil, pampers, assorted drinks, detergents, biscuits among others. Receiving the items Caretaker of the orphanage, Janet Boahemaa Ansu commended NASPA for the donation. She used the opportunity to appeal for more support.
