A two-hour intensive training session has been organized for the program staff of Zaa Radio on Friday to increase the station’s productivity.
The training was aimed at equipping the staff on time management. It was organized by BJ Global Limited, experts in recruitment, training and consulting services located at Sang-ani in Tamale.
Operations Manager of BJ Global, Christopher Owusu Mireku, took participants through basic coaching. He assisted the staff identify time-wasters that bring about low productivity. Some of the time-waters include lateness, unnecessary conversation or gossip, poor communication and inadequate resources.
As part of the interactive discussion, Mr Christopher made the trainees come out of a mind-mapping strategy to drive home the action plan to be translated into a comprehensive report for the management of Zaa Radio to ensure those challenges are addressed within time limits.
Mr Christopher explained that it was part of the BJ Global Limited’s social responsibility to train Zaa Fm staff. The Programs Manager of Zaa Radio, Alhassan Seidu Kayaba said the staff would ensure the skills acquired be practiced for the benefit of the listener.
In his remarks, the accountant and General Manager of Zaa Radio, Zakaria Alidu thanked BJ Global for its kind gesture and urged them to always partner with Zaa Radio.
The Zaa Radio staff, therefore, expressed their joy after undergoing the training. They added that since time is money, they would turn over a new leaf.
