Apsonic Motor Company Limited has awarded deserving dealers in the Northern, Upper East, Upper West, Ashanti, Brong-Ahafo and some parts of the Western regions.
APSONIC categorized the awards as; 1)best prompt paying customer; 2) the most promising or growth customer and: 3) the highest sales customer of the year 2019.
Three dealers went home on Saturday with different prizes, ranging from double-decker Fridges, air compressors, motorcycles, air conditioners and mobile phones. Alhaji Sadat from Techiman emerged first, Alhaji Muskila second, whilst Alhaji Abdallah placed third.
The Country Director of APSONIC motors, Mr Wang Wen Ze and the Chief Technical Engineer Mr Leng presented the awards to the dealers at the company’s 3rd Annual General Meeting and prize-giving day in Tamale.
The Marketing Manager of APSONIC motor, Mr. Abdul Karim Nasam commended the award winners and urged them to keep faith with APSONIC motors.
The challenges in the banking sector that led to the collapse of some banks, Mr Karim said, affected the company’s performance last year.
He specifically mentioned the troubled GN Bank, which has been downgraded to a Savings and Loans company, explaining that because their business is rural based, most of their customers had their monies locked at the GN Bank.
The company according to Mr Karim also encountered another challenge where some of their dealers lost concentration due to the saturated market. He pleaded with them to remain focus on APSONIC.
The Sales Officer at APSONIC, lamented the company’s inability to meet their target for the 2018. According to Mr Hashimin Salifu his outfit target was …Motor bikes but they were not able. He lamented about how some of their dealers used their monies earned from sales of bikes to invest in other business in stead of paying the company.
This he noted was a major hindrance during the year under review and urged the dealers to pay promptly to the company anytime they are supplied goods.
Some of the award winners praised APSONIC for recognizing them as business partners and promised to honor their part when it comes to repayment.
