Africa World Airline

Africa World Airline (AWA) is set to start a midnight flight from Accra to Lagos before December this year.

This is to give opportunity to people who want to live in Lagos and work in Accra and vice versa.

The flight will take off at 12 midnight in Accra to Lagos and 6am the next morning from Lagos to Accra.

Victoria Takyi, marketing manager of Africa World Airline announced this at a refresher training for AWA agents in the Northern and Upper East regions.

The midnight flight introduction, she said, is as a result of AWA’s aim of being Africa’s number one airline.

She also revealed that AWA would commence flight from Accra to WA on the 15th of October 2019.

The flight from Accra to WA would run three times in a week (Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays), she said.

AWA currently offers 50 flights per day to the various regions with eight 50 sitter capacity aircraft.
The workshop is to give capacity building to the agents on the operations of AWA and to address the challenges facing them to enhance a better delivery to their clients.
