Reports reaching zaaradio.com indicate that the spokesperson for the Andani family, Mr. Alhassan Bashiru Dabali, has been arrested and flown from Tamale to Accra.
It is not yet established reasons for his arrest but it may have to do with Tuesday’s charged news conference where he addressed the Asantehene led committee decision report.
The news conference which many described as very strong stance by the family rejected the decision by the eminent chiefs. The children of the late Ya Naa Yakubu Andani accused the three eminent chiefs of double standards and playing to the gallery of the NPP government which they claimed promised the Abudu family the opportunity to perform the Naa Mahamudu Abdulai funeral at the Gbewa Palace.
