The Headmaster of St. Monica’s JHS. Mr. Simon Dumba has called on government and individuals to come to the aid of the school. According to the headmaster, the school which has been the best in the Tolon district still faces some challenges.
He outlined the challenges as lack of a computer laboratory, accommodation for teachers, inadequate classrooms and delay in payment of school levies by parents. He therefore called on NGOs and benevolent institutions to assist the school to enhance effective teaching and learning.
St. Monica’s JHS School was established in 1996 by SARI and currently has an average staff of 13 professionally trained teachers, 8 NABCO teachers and two service personnel.
Mr Simon who was speaking to Zaa News advised students to concentrate on their studies if they want to be responsible future leaders. He also commended old students of the school for their support.
