Loyal and outstanding trade partners of Guinness Ghana Breweries receive rewards at retailer loyalty programme – Yen Nyin Bom in Tamale

Eight (8) loyal and outstanding trade partners of Guinness Ghana Breweries, a Ghana-based beverage company have been rewarded at the second edition of its retailer loyalty programme – Yen Nyin Bom in Tamale. The eight include; Kawula spot (Washing machine), Cepajo (rice cooker), Forest View (microwave), and Hygiene spot (microwave). The rest are Dreamers (microwave), The Guys (microwave), Sandy’s pub (table top gas cooker), and Ahodwo (table top gas cooker).

Seth Enterprise was the Overall winner for the Wholesale category of the northern sector and was presented a truck. However each of the eight received a package from Guinness Ghana containing Glasses, serving trays, openers, and Guinness branded T-shirts.

Yen Nyin Bom is a Trade Loyalty Scheme by Guinness Ghana Breweries PLC (GGBPLC) initiated with the aim of supporting customers to deliver sustainable growth, increasing volumes across the portfolio, and moving away from transaction-based relationships to true partnerships to create sustainable business growth. GGBPLC has invested on the average GHS 10millon per year in the Yen Nyin Bom scheme since its inception in 2019. The ‘Yen Nyin Mbom’ campaign in 2020 was dubbed ‘Rise Up’, which aimed at assisting the key retailers and wholesalers of the company’s products.

Speaking in an interview with Zaa news a Divisional Sales Manager for northern Division of GGBPLC, John Osei Akoto assured the customers of the sales team’s commitment to support them to maximize the opportunities in the third edition of the Yen yin bom Retailer Loyalty scheme. He noted that GGBPLC has brought out new brands namely; Barleys delight and Smirnoff chocolate which according to him is doing well in trade. Mr Akoto also indicates that GGBPLC is implementing new dynamics to ensure customers benefit from the company. The company he says believes in partnership hence the need to reward best performing wholesalers and retailers on monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis to support them improve their businesses. He indicates the activity is continuing for the third year with the hope that it will enrich customers and grow the brands of the company.
The overall winner for the northern division from the Wholesale category, Seth Anganu, owner of Seth Enterprise who walked away with a brand-new truck expressing his excitement to Zaa news says the truck will go a long way to help him expand his business. ‘’I am so happy for this gesture from Guinness Ghana, it will go a long way to improve my business, so I urge my colleagues not to lose hope but to keep trying their best’’, he advised. This is the second time Seth Angenu is receiving such reward from GGBPLC.
Some of the customers Zaa news interacted with at the program confirmed how the retailer loyalty scheme has impacted their businesses positively and commended Guinness Ghana for their continuous support and investment in the business. ‘’We are so thankful and grateful to Guinness Ghana for the kind gesture showed as in our businesses, may they continue to help and support us to improve positively’’, they noted.
