New Patriotic Party in Savelugu Constituency suspends three polling station executives for an alleged misconduct

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Savelugu Constituency has suspended three of its polling station executives for an alleged misconduct. The three Abdul Karim Zakaria, Issahaku Fuseini and Deishini Abdallah Mustapha are said to have been suspended pending further investigations by the constituency Disciplinary Committee of the party.

According to three separate letters sighted by Zaa News, the victims have been suspended for their gross misconduct during the annual delegate’s conference last Wednesday. It would be recalled that one  Zakaria A Karim last Tuesday at the Savelugu Constituency Delegates Conference of the NPP, posing as the leader of the Polling Station Executives of the constituency declared their support for the Vice President’s presidential candidature.

However, Mustapha Deeshini refuted the claim, insisting they will not allow anybody to impose the Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawamia on them. Addressing a News Conference, he alleged the declaration made was instigated by some self-seeking Regional Executives who were pushing their own agenda. But the NPP did not take kindly to the pronouncements describing them as wild and unsubstantiated.
