World vision donates PPEs to Saboba Assembly

World vision has donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) at a cost of eight thousand(8000) US Dollars, equivalence to Forty five thousand, six hundred (45,600) Ghana cedis to the Saboba District Assembly to help in the fight against corona virus.

The items donated include, 50 modernize hand washing facilities with waste and storage bin, 50 gallons of liquid soap, 8 thermometer guns, 5000 hand gloves, 2,750 pieces of nose masks and 240 hand sanitizers, which would be distributed to the religious groups and health workers within the Saboba district.

Presenting the items, manager of world vision in Saboba, Patrick Maraa Tachin, said the gesture is to show World vision’s commitment to the vulnerable in the fight against Covid -19.

District Chief Executive for Saboba, George Bingrini who received the items on behalf of the Assembly expressed his gratitude to World vision for the support.  The DCE assured World vision and also urged beneficiaries to use the items for its intended purposes.    

The thermometer guns and hand gloves went to the health service whereas the hand washing facilities went to the churches and mosques.
