The President, H.E John Dramani Mahama will arrive in the northern regional capital-Tamale from Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region on Wednesday July, 13 2016 to begin his accounting to the people tour.
Mr Mahama’s tour of the region is replete with activities, he will be a busy man, to put it mildly; on his first day in the northern region, he will pay a courtesy call on the king of Mamprugu, Nayiri Naa Mahami Abdulai Shiraga. He will later commissioned a water project at kparigu.
Mr Mahama will also inspect the upgrading work on the Gambaga/Walewale road at Tinguri and cut the sod for the District Education Office complex at Walewale.
In Tamale, President Mahama will inaugurate the first phase of the Aboabo market complex to pave way for traders to conduct their business activities and later in the evening inspect the on-going works on upgrading of Dabokpa vocational institute.
On Thursday, Mr Mahama will inaugurate the engineering laboratory at Tamale polytechnic before proceeding to Yendi to pay courtesy call on Kampakuya Naa, Andani Abdulai Yakubu.
From Yendi, President Mahama will proceed to Zabzugu to inaugurate the Zabzugu water system and also cut the sod for the Sakpegu-Wapuli road upgrade. The tour will also took him to Karaga where he will cut the sod for the construction of the Gushegu-Karaga-Tamale road upgrade works.
