Christians have been advised to focus on God and work hard to achieve salvation in these later days. The call was made by the former president of the West African Union of the Seventh-day Adventist Church Chaplain P. O Mensah during the climax of the worldwide Adventist ten days of prayers in Tamale over the weekend.
Pastor Mensah said seeking personal glory is not the true definition of a Christian but rather engaging in acts that will glorify the name of the almighty God.
The former president explained that all that is happening in the world shows that the end-time is near and urged Christians to seek the kingdom of God first rather than seeking worldly pleasure and wealth
Chaplain Mensah further urged Christians not to be afraid in spreading the gospel and that, if anyone chooses not to serve God, the lord will still be with them and will deliver them.
