Mr Music man as he is affectionately in the showbiz entreated every Ghanaian to have interest in conserving energy. ’’As artists, the power outage does not spare us because sometimes you will be in the recording studios and the light goes off and it affects our work”, Kojo Antwi lamented.
Addressing a public forum which was attended by some pupils from the basic school in Tamale metropolis, Kojo Anwti appealed to Ghanaians to control their electrical appliances including TV sets and not allow them to control them.

The Deputy Northern Regional Minister, Alhaji A. B. A. Fuseini urged the people in to be cautious in saving energy. He emphasized on the need for Ghanaians to use electricity judiciously in homes and at work places.
Alhaji Fuseini said the country can only meet its energy demands domestically when Ghanaians are able to improvise.
According to him, government spends millions of cedis to extend power to communities yet to be connected to the national grid and therefore there is the need for energy conservation so that communities without electricity can be hooked on to the national grid.
