The Tamale District Court 2, presided over by His Lordship Augustine Essah has granted bail to a 42-year old ‘business man’, Fuseini Sadat, who was alleged to have defrauded three people in different banks in Tamale in the sum of two thousand Ghana cedis each with one surety.
He was remanded in prison custody on February 26, 2014 by His Lordship, Augustine Essah after allegedly defrauding some customers in the Ghana commercial bank main and Tamale Teaching Hospital Road branches and the Agricultural Development bank, Tamale main.
The suspect was charged on three counts of stealing. The suspect, the prosecutor said was arrested 21st February, 2014 at the ADB Tamale main branch through CCTV camera and later handed over to the police.
At the court sitting on Tuesday, the presiding judge His lordship Mr Essah granted the suspect bail in the sum of 2 thousand Ghana cedis each with one surety. He is to re-appear on 11th March, 2014.
