Commercial sex workers (CSW) operating in the Tamale metropolis have decided that it would be in their own interest to play it safe with patrons. They have therefore issued a fiat to their clients stating that they would no longer accompany them to their homes. The CSWs took the decision because an increasing number of their new patrons are the infamous internet fraudsters popularly called SAKAWA.
In another blow to patrons, the sex workers for fear of being used by the Sakawa boys for rituals have come out with new rates. The purpose of the new charges which are now GHC 150 for a whole night and GHC 30 for a short period are to deter some of their clients who will want to take them home.
Earlier this year, some of them who marched around the Bank of Ghana area told Zaa News that some Sakawa boys after having sex with them attempted taking their semen for their dastardly spiritual acts.
The commercial sex workers insisted that instead of going to spend the whole night with their clients in their homes, they will either go for a ‘short period’ in a brothel or spend a whole night in a selected hotel within the Tamale Township.
