MTN Ghana supports Christmas day new born babies

Eleventh (11) nursing mothers who delivered on the Christimas day 25th December, 2019 at the Tamale Teaching Hospital have commended MTN Ghana Foundation for being consistent in the discharge of their Copperate Social Responsibility. Nine women who delivered same day at the Yendi government hospital recieved similar hampers from the telecom giant expressed the hope that other companies in the country will emulate MTN example.
Mrs Mellicent Nana Akua Kyerewa who delivered twins on the eve of the Christmas was excited that as a customer she got something from the network she enjoys over the years .

Another mother, Mrs Ayisha Mahamud who she was due on 25th but delivered on the boxing day  expressed her joy for going home with hamper from MTN for her baby.
‘I thank  MTN for the gift  for my baby’ , Mrs Ayisha said with lot of  smiles.

A total of 20 hampers were distributed to nursing mothers at both TTH and the Yendi government hospital

The Principle Midwefering  Officer in charge of TTH labor ward, Hajia Zenab Yahaya who supervised the distributions of the hampers was full of praise for MTN for making it a routine exercise for her ward.
She prayed for Allah support for management and staff of MTN  to enable them assist more vulnerable in their operational areas.

MTN Northern Sector  Area Sales Manager Mr, Obed Adu Amakwa who led the team  told the media that the presentation was in line  with the festive season which encourages given to the need in society.
Mr Obed explained that it was  proper as a company that strive in customers to also give back to people who make the company what they are  today. ‘As an African company, we believe in given and therefore an annual event has been instituted by MTN  to give back to the society’ Mr Obed said.
Mr Obed reiterated the company’s commitment to providing  customers with innovative ideas to addressing challenges in connecting their business associates, families and friends.

He cautioned customers to wary of fraudsters who are bent on defrauding them through  the mobile money service. ‘Don’t expose your code, your password and don’t also entertain calls on your wallets, expecially when you have not participated in any raffle’, the area sales  manager advised.
