A collaboration efforts between the Savannah and Upper East police commands has led to the arrest of suspects Abdul Rauf and Amidu Fuseini suspected to have murdered of the two persons who died in the Lukula conflict last Saturday 17/08/19.
The two, according to the police fled to Sandema in the Upper East region following police effort to have them arrested.
The police were after two to assist in the murder of Alidu Yakubu, 37 years who sustained machete wounds on the head.
The suspects were said to have shot on the rips of Amadu Yakubu, 40 years. The suspects are expected to be brought to Damongo today as part of investigations.
Meanwhile, calm has return to Lukula and it’s environs are quiet following deployment of police and military personnel in the community and surrounding areas.
