Consider youth empowerment as an effective tool for the development of the north-NPP First Vice Chairman

The First Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Northern Region, Alhaji Iddrisu Sunday has observed the need for politicians and other well to do persons in the region to consider youth empowerment as an effective tool for the development of the area.
He said if northerners in influential positions, were to support the youth in the areas of education, business development and vocational and skills training ventures, the development gap between the south and north would have been bridged quickly.
Alhaji Sunday who was speaking at a brief ceremony to honour him for his contribution towards the progress of the youth, the NPP First Regional Vice Chairman, stated he has been at the forefront of youth development over the years because of his zeal to do so and therefore called on other influential citizens of the north to endeavour to commit to assisting the young ones to grow.
The Northern Youth Agenda honoured Alhaji Iddrisu Sunday with a citation at a brief ceremony in his private residence over the weekend. It’s CEO, Alexander Jimpey noted Alhaji Sunday have made significant contributions that have impacted positively on the youth.
He said this gesture is only to encourage Alhaji Sunday to do more to support the youth in their chosen careers.
