Corona virus: MP aspirant donates to Saboba Hospital

The Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Supply Company and an aspirant in the upcoming New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primaries in Saboba, Abraham Binanpadam Jawol has donated some items to hospitals in Saboba to help combat the global pandemic disease  coronavirus.

The items worth Two thousand Ghana cedi’s was yesterday presented to the two health facilities in the district capital, as well as Saboba district police office and the GPRTU branch in Saboba.

The items include alcoholic base hand sanitizers, protective hand gloves, liquid soap, table napkins, plastic bowls and Veronica buckets.  Receiving the items on behalf of the hospitals, general manager of Assemblies of God hospital, Samuel Odonkor expressed their gratitude to the NPP aspirant, and assured him the items will be put in proper use.

Mr. Samuel added that, the donation came at a critical moment when the items have become scarce and expensive in the market. He also used the opportunity to appeal for more PPEs and other medical supplies to help the district efforts in combating the virus.

The CEO and NPP parliamentary aspirant in an interview with Radio Gaakii’s Ntadi Nnajim Paul after the donation said he intends to extend it to other health facilities in the district to help curb the spread of coronavirus (covid19) in Saboba and Ghana as whole.

The police service who also got a share of the donations expressed gratitude to the MP aspirant.

They also bemoaned the unapproved routes at the borders and charged the people along there to assist the immigration to ensure that the movement of people through is put to a stop.
