The Member of Parliament for the Tamale North Constituency Alhaji Alhassan Sayibu SUHUYINI has intensified efforts towards the fight against Covid 19. He made donations of 100s of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to some major health facilities in the Tamale North Constituency to aid the COVID-19 fight.
A total of 200 pieces of surgical gowns and aprons, 100 pieces of protective head cap and 200 pieces of surgical gloves were presented to the health facilities.
Others include 100 pieces of disposable gumboots socks, 200 pieces of facemask, 20 pieces of goggles and 50 Veronica buckets and stands.
The beneficiary facilities include, Choggu, Kanvilli, Nyanshegu and Kalpohim health centers. While commending health workers in the constituency, Alhaji Suhuyini reiterated the need to ensure that equipment required by the workers are provided to effectively deal with the Covid 19 pandemic.
He urged the Tamale North Constituents to adhere to the WHO protocols to prevent spread of the virus.
