Prince Mukadi Donates to Tamale Prisons to commemorate birthday

The Head of Sports at Zaa radio, Halid Prince Mukadi Gbramoni has donated to inmates at the Tamale Central Prisons to commemorate his birthday celebration. The items include water, food, assorted drinks, nose masks, ludo for games, detergents, tissue, tooth paste and brushes among others.

Speaking during the presentation of the items Prince Mukadi noted that the donation forms part of his cooperate social responsibility to society. He said he finds joy in giving hope to the hopeless and needy in society.

This is not the first time the gallant and award winning sports presenter has made such donations. He has shown such philanthropic gesture in various forms to the vulnerable and needy in society on different occasions.

Prince Mukadi who is known for his proverbial expressions in his sports presentation is hopeful to do more to help more people in society. Prince Mukadi was accompanied by Leader of Manhaliya Sunnah Community Al-Sheik Hussein Khalid Jimah, Rep My team foundation and funs of Zaa sports.

He also used the opportunity to advise the general public to develop the habit of helping the less privileged in society, since Allah cherishes a cheerful giver. The sports presenter also called on government’s attention to help shape the Prison centres in the country.

Northern regional Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the Ghana Prisons Service, DSP David Kwame Affacho, who received the items on behalf of the Service thanked the team for putting smiles on faces of the inmates. He also appealed to NGOs, philanthropist, faith-based organizations and individuals to emulate the good works of the sports presenter.

DSP Divine Affacho touching on the challenges facing the Prisons centre appealed for a new toilet and septic tank to serve the over 292 inmates. Leader of Manhaliya Sunnah Community Al-Sheik Hussein Khalid Jimah on his part advised the youth to be of good behaviour to avoid being victims of such circumstances.
