The King of Dagbon, N’dan Yaa Naa Abukari II, has enskinned Alhaji Muhammad Ibn Umar as Tung-Lana of Yelizoli Traditional Area. Alhaji Muhammad Umar until his enskinment as Tung-Lana has been the North America Dagbamba Naa and Chief Executive Officer of Zaa Multimedia.
Tung-Lana Muhamaru M-moro’s enskinment occurred following the final funerals rites of the late Tung-Lana Abdulai Shei which was performed last week.
Tung-Lana Muhamaru M-moro enskinment took place at the Gbewaa Palace in Yendi on Sunday February 5, 2024. The enskinment was witnessed by prominent Chiefs, the media and tens of people of the Yelizoli Traditional Area. He was escorted back to Zabzugu in convoy with several vehicles lined up where they received a rousing welcome in his own land of birth to formally assume his role as Yelizoli Tung-Lana.
