The Zabzugu Constituency Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has, in a press release, extended their warmest felicitations to newly elected national executives at the just-ended 10th National Delegates Congress held in Accra on the 17th and 18th of December, 2022.
In a press release, the Zabzugu Constituency Executive Committee expressed their confidence in the newly elected national executives but was quick to ask them to put their extensive electoral experience to good use and extend their politically long-standing experience to the constituency in order to enable them to reclaim the seat for the NDC.
They also assured newly elected national executives of their unwavering support and commitment to attaining the collective goal of winning a majority of parliamentary seats and presidential votes for the party in the next general elections by working together to produce a Member of Parliament for the NDC and winning popular votes for the NDC in the upcoming 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.
The Constituency Executive Committee, in a statement, used the opportunity to extend the constituency’s profound condolences to the family of their departed hero, A.U. Faruk, who traveled with them on their bus to witness the congress, only to meet his untimely demise shortly after he arrived in Accra. His mortal remains were immediately brought back to Tamale to be buried in accordance with Islamic tradition. He was put to rest at the Zujung cemetery.

NDC ZABZUGU CONGRATULATES NEWLY ELECTED NATIONAL EXECUTIVE OFFICERS
The Zabzugu Constituency Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on behalf of the rank and file of the party in the Zabzugu constituency extends our congratulations to the NEWLY ELECTED NATIONAL EXECUTIVES at the just ended 10th National delegates conference held in Accra on the 17th and 18th Dec.2022.
We have no doubt in our minds that the newly elected executives will use their long-standing election experience under the able leadership of Honorable Johnson Aseidu Nketiah to propel the party to victory come December, 2024 in Ghana as whole and will give Zabzugu constituency the needed attention and support to recapture our seat.
The Zabzugu constituency Executives also hereby pledge our unflinching support and commitment to achieve our collective goal of winning majority of parliamentary seats and presidential votes for the party in the next general elections by working all to produce an MP for NDC and winning popular votes for NDC in coming 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.
we also through this medium express our heartfelt condolences to the family of our fallen hero, A.U. Faruk who travelled with us in our bus to witness the congress only to meet his untimely death after a short illness at Accra.
