Adhere to our directive or loose the opportunity to contest primaries, Samba to MP aspirants

NR NPP chairman, Mohammed Samba

The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Northern region says its directive to aspiring parliamentary candidates in constituencies with incumbent MPs to halt campaigning is still in force.

It says anybody who flouts the directive will be severely punish, including preventing such persons from contesting the upcoming primaries.

The Regional Chairman of the NPP Mohammed Bantima Samba re-echoed this on Zaa Radio during a working visit to the station indicates, the party has its rules of engagement and true party members must respects those rules.

He says the directive is expected to provide level playing grounds in the best interest of all aspirants. Chairman Samba’s visit is to strengthen the party’s relationship with the media.

He was accompanied by the Regional Secretary and his Deputy, the Communication Director Sule Salifu and members of the party’s Communication Management Team.

The Communication Director Sule Salifu commended Zaa Radio for putting the government on its toes and projecting the various policies of the NPP led government.

Head of Dagbanli at Zaa Radio Alhassan Yushaw Jahanfo received the NPP chairman and his entourage on behalf of the management and staff of the station.

He pledged Zaa Radio’s commitment to be fair to all political parties and ensure that its airwaves are used to promote peace and development in the region.
