Ace football pundit Mohammed Alala Sila has added his voice to many who think that Michael Essien’s absence in the black stars is not felt much.
The Chelsea midfielder last played for the Black Stars in a nation’s cup qualifier against Sudan last year in Kumasi.
Essien recently returned to action for Chelsea after recovering from a recurring knee injury.
Many football pundits believe the introduction of youngsters in the team by coach Goran stevanovic has paid well and one of such young players is Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu who has been in top form for the black stars in the ongoing Afcon in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
The 21 yr old midfielder has fitted well in midfield for Ghana and Alala silla believes Essien’s return to the black stars would not be relevant. The former RTU man told Tamale base Zaa fm that Badu has proven himself enough to be sidelined for Essien. ]]>
