The president, John Dramani Mahama has interacted with Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) and some members of parliament in the northern region present in Yendi. During the interaction, the president encouraged them to work hard to improve the living standard of the people.
He told the MMDCEs that, the better Ghana agenda the NDC promised Ghanaians is still on cause and that government will overcome the challenges it encounted in 2014. Among the MPs he interacted with are the Convention People's Party (CPP) member of parliament for Kumbungu, Moses Amadu Yahaya and the Independent member of parliament for Tamale North Alhassan Dahimani.
The president together with the chief of staff, Prosper Douglas Bani were in Yendi to join the chiefs and people of Dagbon celebrate this years Damba festival.
