SC verdict is a mark of growth, maturity and development of Ghana’s political dispensation-Nayiri

The president of Northern regional House of Chiefs, Nayiri, Naa Bohugu Mahimi Abdulai Sheriga on behalf of the chiefs in the region has congratulated Nana Addo Akkuff Addo on accepting the Supreme Court verdict on time. 

Nayiri Na Mahami Sheriga who is also the overlord of the Mamprugu traditional area said, the timing and manner in which Nana Addo conceded defeat carried his following and  was good for Ghana and its democratic credentials.  

Na Mahami Bohugu Sheriga described Supreme Court verdict as a mark of growth, maturity and development of Ghana’s political dispensation.

The Nayiri also congratulated the President, John Dramani Mahama on being confirmed as the validly elected president of the republic of Ghana.

The Nayiri further thanked civil society organizations, political parties and religious leaders and the national peace council for the various roles they play in ensuring that peace in Ghana is sustained.
