There are tax incentives for business in the North-GIPC reveals

Ghana Investment Promotion Center in the Northern Region (GIPC) is urging vegetable farmers in the northern region to capitalize on the upgrading of the Tamale airport into an International one. 
GIPC says the upgrading of the airport will ease the hassles of farmers especially, vegetable faramers to export their produce to the international market direct. 

Northern Regional Director of GIPC, Christopher Sedor who was speaking at the second Zaa  entrepreneurship and investment month conference encouraged all residents in the region to go into business. 

He assured business minded people that there is tax incentives for people who want to do business. 
The center, according to Mr sedor, will link all business-oriented people to all government institutions that have  anything to do with business. 
The GIPC director also made  passionate appeal to the people in the region to embrace peace for investors to invest in the region. 
Barrister of Law, lawyer Ibrahim Mahama appealed to the people in the region to make good use of the Zaa forums to improve their living conditions.
 “The CEO has a good initiative and must be supported by all well-meaning Ghanaians, especially, northerners”, Lawyer Ibrahim said. 
 Northern region can only catch up with the rest of the regions if we focus on unearthing the numerous business potentials, he observed. 
Three distinguished people in the northern region were awarded for their contribution to business growth in Banking, education and agriculture.
