Tighten your belt and fight corruption- UCF tells President

The United Cadres Front (UCF) in the northern region has called on the President H.E. John Dramani Mahama to tighten his belt in the fight against corruption.
The cadres also urged President Mahama to ensure that say anyone found culpable is punished without fear or favor.

While calling on the president to fight corruption, UCF also urged Ghanaians to support the president to eliminate the cancer of corruption from Ghanaian politics and the economy as a whole.
The cadres in a statement to mark 32nd anniversary of 31st December 1981 salute all gallant heroes of that event which they has brought Ghana to where it is today.
The cadres also acknowledge the June 4th 1979, saying probity, accountability and transparency were the principles of 31st December and June 4th.

The cadres salute the former chairman of the two events, former president Jerry John Rawlings. A statement issued in Tamale and signed by the acting UCF chairman, Alhaji Sule Alhassan commended Northern Regional Minister, Bede Ziedeng and his Deputy Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini for their hard work so far. The cadres assured the regional coordinating council of their support in the course of their duties.
