The Northern Regional Executive Committee of the ruling NDC have expressed their gratitude to president Mahama for his overwhelming endorsement in the region and the country as a whole.The executives say they are delighted and have confidence in President Mahama's capacity to continue advancing the better Ghana agenda chapter two.A statement signed by the regional Secretary, Umar Issifu Alhassan said the regional executives would support and cooperate with the president to deliver his mandate to the people of Ghana.The executives also congratulates all parliamentarian elect's for good job done as they head to parliament and expressed the hope that they perform to the aspirations of the nation and the people they represent.The statement however, regretted for the loss of eleven out of the thirty one constituencies in the northern region and pledge to re-strategize to recapture the seats in the next parliamentary elections.It thanked all branch and ward executives, party activist and sympathizers for their hard-work that lead to the resounding victory of the NDC.The statement further commends the electoral commission and the various security services for the hard-work and show of professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
