The Young Patriots of the New Patriotic Party has declared that it will embark on a demonstration in Tamale against the President Mills led administration on the 5th of March 2012.
The demonstration dubbed โAtta Miisimโ is being jointly organized with the Progressive Nationalist Forum.
ย The demonstration, according to the organizers, is in furtherance to a statement issued by the two groups on the 19th of January 2012 requesting the President to within 21 days reinstate Martin Amidu to ensure the proper prosecution of Alfred Woyome who has been paid a 51 million Ghana cedi judgement debt.
ย The statement had suggested that if refunded the President should put all the refunded money into Savanna Accelerated Development Authority (SADA) to ensure a successful implementation of the programme.
Addressing a news conference in Tamale the Resident President of the Young Patriots, Richard Kwesi Nyamah, alleges that Betty Mould Iddrisu, Dr Kwabena Duffour, Barton Oduro and Alex Sagbefia conspired with Mr Woyome to defraud the state.
Mr Nyamah further alleges that some key members of the NDC and some government officials are beneficiaries of the 51 million Ghana cedis judgement debt.
ย Mr Nyamah also accuses the three members of parliament in Tamale of allegedly masterminding and conniving with the regional police command and the regional coordinating council to arrest five NPP members who are currently being tried for murder.
