The presenter of the Rap University of Zaa Radio, Amidu Abdul-Rahim popularly known in showbiz as DJ Bat has been awarded as the winner for the Ghana-Nigeria and northern music promoter, and Best Drive Time 2014-2015 Presenter in the Tamale Metropolis.
Rap University is a segment of Drive Time aimed at unearthing the talents of young musicians in the northern regiont.
The award included an undisclosed amount of money 10 radio sets and an amount of GH50 airtime.
The award category was facilitated by the management of Bishara Radio, a sister Radio station based in Tamale. Among the nominees were; DJ Mezz of Justice FM, DJ Cliffs of Kesmi FM, Senzational DJ of North star and DJ Bat of Zaa Radio.
Speaking to Zaa showbiz, the award winner, DJ Bat urged his colleague DJ’s within the metropolis to do away from the habit of jealousy, setbacks, hatred and personal issues and concentrate on entertaining and educating the public.
