The Founder and Leader of the Entrepreneurship and Public Speaking Institute, Ibrahim Mustapha, one of the motivational icons in Tamale, over the week-end, launched a book entitled, “The Confident Speaker’’ at the Tamale cultural center.
The book seeks to motivate, challenge, encourage and enable the youth and the general public to understand that public speaking can be learned. Mr. Mustapha, the renowned young motivational speaker said at the launch that he has the passion to help people in speaking.
He added that he started his career by providing voluntary teaching at the Tamale polytechnic. He also provided free services to other business enterprises by training their employees for free.
He urged the youth to make use of opportunities and not wait for monies before they start a business.
The launch was attended by many youth groups from second cycle institutions such as Ghana Senior High School (GHANASCO), Northern Business College (NOBISCO), Tamale Senior High School ( TAMASCO), Anbarriya Islamic Institute and some tertiary institutions.
There were also a lot of mentors who led and challenged youth groups to do well in their academics. They also inspired them to take leadership positions, both in school and outside school, in addition to sharing their life experiences with the students.
A mentor admonished the youth that they can do whatever they want to do, no matter their location.
Some of the students who spoke to Zaa news at the launch also expressed satisfaction with what they learnt from Mustapha and the mentors.
