COVID-19 ;2 confirmed positive in Ghana

Ghana has recorded its first confirmed coronavirus cases on Thursday, Ministry of health has announced.

The two according to health Minister Mr  Kwaku Aygeman Manu returned to Ghana from Norway and Turkey.

At a short televised on Thursday night, the health Minister flanked by Information Minister, Kojo Opong. Krumah and Director of Public health at Ghana Health Service, Dr Badu Sakodie said the two were confirmed by the Noguch Medical Institute and research of the university of Ghana, Legon.

The two has since been sent to an isolation center, health Minister said .
The true identity are yet to be established as health minister didn’t mentiones their nationalities.

This is in less than 24 hours after the president gave telivised address announcing $100 million to  improve Ghana’s readiness and strategist.

The health Minister urged Ghanaains to remain calm and observed all safety protocols from health experts.
