Don’t engage in illegal electricity connection -NEDCO cautions newly connected communities

The Volta River Authority  and the Northern Electricity Distribution Company (VRA/NEDCO)  Supervisor of the project in the Gushegu Municipality, Mr Richard Kojo Asante has cautioned the people about the dangers of using the light illegally.

Mr Asante told the people that electricity has many good uses and adhering to advise in order not to exposed their houses on fire.

Mr Asante told the people that even though work was done, many houses may not get lights for now because they did not engage the services of certified electricians to wire their houses.

” We have realized that most of the houses were not wired properly and it will be dangerous for electricity to pass through”, he cautioned.

He however assured that his team will monitor and ensure that houses with problems in wiring are rectified and connected properly.

”Thank your MCE, he has put a lot of  preasure on us and that has  led to early completion of project”,  Mr Asante added.
Mr Asante explained that even though the was  3 phase  with the capacity of the transformer 100 kv, it can power grinning mill and electronic gudggets.

Mr Asante told the chief Limo Iddrisu Seidu that their appeals was what led to the quick completion of the project.

He appealed to the chiefs to  impressed on the people not to misused the   lights.
