Fancy Gadam signed as Brand Ambassador of Rasta Choco malt

Last year’s northern music awards winner, Fancy Gadam, known in real life as Mr. Ahmed Mujahid Benlo, has been signed by a drinks company, Twellium Industry Company Limited, as its brand ambassador of “Rasta Choco” malt. The signing took place at a press conference in Tamale on Monday.

Rasta choco malt, produced by Tellium industrial company Ltd is a new and fresh non-alcoholic bottled product that is reachable across the African continent. The company is also the producer of verna mineral water as well as rush energy drink. The company’s main factory is located in Nsawam.

Speaking to the press and some industry players at the conference, the marketing director of Twellium Industry company Ltd, Mr. Ali Ajami, described Fancy Gadam  as an outstanding musician who has the passion, love and support for the northern region hence the company’s’ decision to associate with him as the Brand Ambassador for the  product.

Mr. Ajami mentioned that the one year contract with the ‘concrete hit maker’ will see him as the lead actor in all campaign, promotions and activities on Rasta Choco malt in Tamale as well as in the rest of the country.

Mr. Ajami also commended Fancy Gadam’s interest and passion for the growth of northern music. This, he said made him an easy choice among his peers. Mr. Ajami said he believed the north abounds in special raw talents that need to be tapped, adding that companies in Ghana should not only concentrate in the southern part of the country but should also consider coming up north for better opportunities.

He was also quick to blame the media in the region for not spreading the good works of the people in the region enough for national attention. Talking about the upcoming election, Mr Ali revealed that a number of concerts have been organized to preach and spread the message of peace to the entire northern region and the country at large.

In his acceptance speech, Fancy Gadam expressed his profound gratitude to his loyal fans and family for their support and encouragement in his music career. He also called on other musicians to support him through the deal in order for them to achieve the aim of putting the northern region on the map.

He also appealed to the people in the region to purchase the product ‘Rasta choco malt’ as much as they can afford to.

As part of efforts to promote peace during, before and after the December 7 polls, Twellium Company Limited on Saturday 12 November 20116 organized free hepatitis B screening exercise for the general public. 100 people were screened and 3 tested positive  and will be treated accordingly.

In a related development the company in collaboration with the student representative council of the Tamale Polytechnic organized a peace concert for students. The occasion  was marked by a crowd pleasing performance by talented musicians such Don-Sigli, Lil-K and others as well as comedy.

According to Mr. Ajami the company is ready to do more for the people in the region especially the fight for peace and development.
