Contributory factors

Some members of the governing party in the municipality have told Zaa News that the nominee human relations and performance in the last four years was not good.

The MP is reported to thrown his weight behind one of the applicants, Mr Zakaria Abubakari Sadiq whilst the Microfinance and Small Loan Ceneter CEO is said to be supporting the nominee.

Another possible reason the last parliamentary primaries acrimony and show of wealth among the then aspirants, Alhaji Faruk Aliu Mahama -current member of parliament for Yendi constituency and the then deputy CEO of MASLOC Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakariah who is also now appointed as substantive CEO affected the nominee.
