Tamale North MP hands over boreholes to communities

Residents at Fou in the Tamale North Constituency have commended Member of Parliament for the area, Alhaji Alhassan Suhuyini for his lobbying skills to help provide basic social amenities.
The residents say Alhaji Suhiyini humility and efforts to get them basic needs without central government support shows that they made a good choice and will retain him on December general eletions.

The constituent, particular expressed their gratitude on Monday after
Alhaji Suhiyini and his development partners commissioned boreholes water facilities for the people of Fou and Wuvo Guma. The projects were financed by Unique Global Need Foundation, a Turkish NGO and Crime Check Foundation.
The boreholes will provide potable water for Fou area and beyond who hitherto trek several kilometers to nearby communities for water.

Over four communities have benefited with similar boreholes by NGOs through the efforts of Alhaji Alhassan Suhuyini. 

Representative of African Friendship Association based in Turkey, Mr Jamal Abdul Nasir Salis assured the community of their continue collaboration with Tamale North MP. Fuo, Mr Salis said was supposed to have two boreholes but the weather didn’t made it possible.
He pleaded with the people to make good use of the facility.

Unique Global Need Foundation of Turkey, Qatar Charity Fund, Crime and Check Foundation have assisted Tamale North Constituency in the area of water, health facilities and livelihoods empowerment as a result of Alhaji Suhuyini’s interactions and engagement with them.
He assured the constituent of quality representation in parliament.

On Tuesday Crime Check Foundation, an NGO in collaboration with Alhaji Suhiyini’s initiative commissioned another mechanized well at WuvoGuma community.

The foundation Executive Director Mr Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng told Zaa News his outfit responded to calls from the MP to help the community get potable water. He explained Zaa News at Wuvo Guma that they made follow up and realized that the source of water was not the best.

The foundation mobilized money for the borehole through the MP’s supervision. ’’We are not going to end here; we want to continue to support in whatever we can so that the other needs of the community are cater for’’ Mr Ibrahim assured. 

He gave a firm assurance of the foundation attending to other pressing needs of the community.

The MP on behalf of the people in the area thanked the government and people Turkey for their generosity.
The boreholes he said will relief the people from hours spent in search of water.
Water, the MP said is part of several concerns the people have put before him during his interactions with them.


According to him, several appeals have been made a strong case the community to benefit but it didn’t happen and the intervention by the people of Turkey acceding to their appeals was commendable.
