TTH Nurse arrested for violating restrictions on public gatherings
A 30- years-old nurse at Tamale Teaching Hospital has been arrested for organizing an outdooring and christening ceremony of his one week old daughter at Kukuo, a suburb of Tamale.
The president in exercise of the power conferred under subsection (1) of section 2 of the Imposition of Restrictions Act, 2020 (Act 1012), this Instrument is made this 23rd day of March, 2020.
It was on the bases of this that the suspect, Mohammed Saani was arrested at 1100 hours Wednesday by the northern regional police command.
Northern Regional Crime Officer Supritendent Otou Acheampong who disclosed this to Zaa News said the police will ensure that the law deal with recalcitrants in the region.
He has been cautioned, charged and released on bail to appear before the circuit Court on 14 May 2020.
